Need a metal adapter next-now that the tripod is solid I have noticed the wobble from the plastic tripod adaptor! ) I have this tripod, there good and solid arn't they. Solid, and they fold down to a reasonably compact size considering the height to which they can extend. I love it. Before that I was mounting my 15x70s on a lightweight camera tripod-when I got the 8115 I felt like throwing the camera tripod in the nearest bin! The very helpful gentleman's name is Geoff Ruzgar Chairman Dunfermline Astronomical Society: http://www.dasoc.org.uk. He sold it to me for £25. Nothing wrong with it-never used it. He switched to an SCT scope before it arrived so I am assuming he outsourced its making to someone. I have emailed him just now Darren asking if it is ok if I give you his email via PM. Will let you know as soon as he's responded He responds quickly! He's just sent me photo of proof of postage and has given the ok for you to contact him.
